you learn something new everday.

while sitting in my biology class, (which by the way can be very eventful sometimes) we were discussing what to do for our Christmas partay next week. everybody started talking about what food to bring and they're favorite chips yatta yatta yatta.

this girl in my class said that she might bring cupcakes or a cake. at this point Mrs. Bio teacher spoke up and began talking about how one of her students always brought in some French bread/cake/jelly thing. it sounded really good. she then went on to say that one of her other students (who happens to be a good friend of mine) always brought in pumpkin pie. i burst out laughing. she looked at me and my other friend who was also laughing and said, "Don't laugh. He is a great pie maker!"

well you learn something new everyday. apperantly. i'll have to get him to make me a pumpkin pie and then maybe I'll believe my teacher.

but to tell you the truth I never thought of this guy as a "great pie maker". :)

this morning...

i put my crackers in the fridge. they tasted all cold when i ate them for lunch.

i was so out of it. ha

|| hence the name of my blog

ok. so I’m sitting at work trying to look calm and under control (managing phones, greeting people, and so on) while reading a blog post by one of my good friends. Mistake numero uno. This friend is known to keep anyone laughing until you die. and I should have known this post would have me laughing hystericaly since it was entitled “yesterday – funniest day ever”. Mistake numero dos - I wasn’t thinking, so I kept on reading. It wasn’t that funny…an occasional little laugh but nothing uncontrollably funny. But as I was nearing the end of the post I started laughing so hard my eyes started welling up with tears. Now remember I am sitting up at the front desk of Covenant Life Church with various pastors and secretaries walking around me (some even in meetings!). I tried to muffle my laugh so others couldn't here me which made me laugh even harder because of the hysterical snorting noises I was making. Safe to say, I was trying oh so very hard to not fall out of my chair I was laughing so hard.

So if you want to laugh as well read rachel’s post.

oh rach, thank you mucho for always making me laugh. you make my days brighter.

:: Sing everyday

I have found that if you listen to music, and not just listen but sing and dance along while trying to memorize muscle names (or any school for that matter) it actually helps. The reason for this is that if you can listen to something and memorize a totally separate thing at the same time then you are smart. Safe to say I got a 91 on that bio test. clapclapclap. thank you very much. I shall listen to music more often. So off I go to do literature with my musica. :D

...

warning: don't listen to music while doing Bible. every word will go right over your head in flying colors ... :)

quote of the day ::

"it looks like squishy cheese".

thanks for that little picture into your brain, kathleen.

My Bio class

so I have this little class. ok, maybe it’s not that little – no wait. it is not little at all. no, it actually requires much thought, time, and work…and every once in a while it causes you to cautiously look down staircases, write on people with pens, and study in hallways. yes, the not so little class will do very weird things to you. the reason for this is that it is not just your average biology class. you know the: here are your biceps, this is your femur, these are you arteries type of biology class. no. this class is: here are your biceps and did you know that you have to memorize 20 pages on how it contracts and all the chemistry involved in it? oh and your femur? yeah – go color in your book alllll the different layers to that bone. oh and all the arteries you thought you knew? take that and multiply it by the largest number you can think of. then you’ll get how many there really are. mhmm. that is my biology class (I left out a lot to spare you the pain I endure). oh yes. this is my Advanced Biology plus Anatomy and Physiology class. psh. yeah. quite the mouth just to tell you what I take.

...but actually, this post is not to tell you all about yourself (trust me; you don’t want to know all about yourself). no this post is to tell you about two certain people who are the only reason I am not dead in this class. you see, there are these two girls that brighten my days so much. just the thought of them makes me feel happy and joyful and so excited to see them next : libby squamous tiren – your mom. kristen melodramatic emelio – thanks for trying to bomb that test. :) I lovelovelove them so much.

and that's why i wrote this.

and yes we do have pen battles and scare eachother with freaky stories that make certain people look down staircases when we are studying in my upstairs hallway...and much more.
