A new year is starting and that means a new season of life is too. I'm excited! Every year God shows me something new and I can't wait to see what this year holds! 2 years ago it was to trust Him with my surgery, last year was to persevere in the hard classes, and this year is going to be just as eye-opening as those 2 years have been.
I am also excited about the AP Language class because I love to write and always have (hence the blog name). I also want to grow in my writing. My favorite type of writing is fiction though, and I am in the midst of writing a fairy tale book: Forbidden Love. But this class is really going to help me grow in essay writing which I also enjoy.
so ditto to my post title...welcome school. or not! :P

I love life...
Like seriously. From the little things to the really big things. God has been so gracious to me. I have the best family, the funniest friends, the most awesome pastors, the best Church, the best job, and everything else you can think of is pretty cool too. If someone were to ask me if I could pick another time to live in, I probably wouldn't be able to pick, but I'd make sure that everyone I knew was still there. Things that interest me the most are the simple things of life: laughing, talking, singing, reading, dancing, acting like kids with my bffs (because we are and we will laugh at just about anything and anyone). My life is full of blessings from the Lord and I couldn't be anymore grateful.

My first novel has been through a few drafts, but needs more revising. I just finished the rough draft of my second novel.
Sometimes I write short stories too, but those aren't really my "specialty".
I found something else we have in common! I read "My Antonia" a few months ago, and really loved it!
I definitely have to send you an email before this comment runs off the page!
